LOVE this place! We live in Southbury but will not go anyplace but Asian Kitchen as there food is so delicious and BIG portions for a reasonable price. You must try it!!!
Down hill sorry! Did take out this was my go to place better portions and unmatched quality. Went to Bethel Chinese Kitchen a number of times but liked the Asian Kitchen House Special Fried Rice hands down, the Boneless Spare Ribs, and Wasabi Dumplings so "treated" ourselves tonight. Well, not a treat at all! First, I "believe" we got 6 dumplings last time now 4 for the same price I could be wrong. Regardless, tasted old and dry. The Ribs were "ok", but again, not half as good as I was used to a LOT of sauce like trying to hide something or rehydrate. The rice the MAJOR disappointment there was nothing inside! Maybe a shrimp that got lost when they were cooking somebody a shrimp dish or a piece of chicken that somehow wondered on. There was a piece of pork sighting. Last time I ordered it was packed! So I paid like $17 for a bowl of rice and even the rice was not the same quality. Last dish was the sesame shrimp. The shrimp were large but just not prepared properly and other than the shrimp there was nothing in the dish. Cutting corners but unfortunately the middle too. I know with high prices something has to give. I rather pay more or get a smaller portion that I am told about rather than not enjoy the meal. Sorry, moving on
I typically love the food but was very disappointed tonight. The portions are very generous but for the price, the food was lacking flavor. A much different experience from past experiences.
